Will, protection mandate and power of attorney, with Mentor
On this page
In short
Mentor helps the practice prepare more notarial wills, protection mandates and powers of attorney with the same team. What the client brings and says at the meeting feeds the client's form, and each deed is drafted from the practice's own templates. The notary reviews and approves every deed.
What Mentor brings
More deeds, same team
Deeds are prepared faster: the practice sees more clients without depending on hiring.
The meeting feeds the form
What the client says at the meeting fills in the form: fewer notes to rework, fewer omissions.
The practice's clauses, in every deed
Every deed starts from the practice's templates: the same quality, whoever on the team prepares it.
The notary holds the pen
Mentor prepares drafts; the notary reviews, edits and approves every deed.
Frequently asked questions
Must the meeting with the client be recorded?
No. The client's form can be filled in by hand. A recording lets Mentor fill it in and note the points of attention.
Does Mentor draft the will with the practice's clauses?
Yes. The practice imports its Word templates; the will, the protection mandate and the power of attorney are drafted from its templates, or from Mentor's.
Can a client request a will, a protection mandate and a power of attorney in the same file?
Yes. The file brings together the requested deeds, and each one shows what it still needs.
Does Mentor take a previous will or mandate into account?
Yes. Once added to the file, it is read and classified, and used to pre-fill the client's form.
What happens if information changes after drafting?
Mentor flags that the draft deed needs updating, so no deed goes out with outdated information.
Is the index of minutes kept?
Yes. Each deed receives its minute number at signing; it is entered in the practice's index of minutes.
